Telikom PNG through its subsidiary Cellnet operates a 900Mhz GSM network in major commercial centers throughout PNG. The network is still being expanded. The service includes basic messaging (SMS) and voice mail.

Pacom Communications offers both cellular phone and connections to the Cellnet 'B Mobile' network.

A range of GSM phones and accessories is maintained by Pacom for your convienince. Customers may select any of the current B Mobile connection plans. The current standard connection plan is available at PNG K125.00 including tax and includes calls to the value of K100.00. Top up cards of K20.00, K50.00, or K100.00 are also available.

The cost of calls is determined by 'Cellnet' and varies from time to time depending on foreign exchange rates and specials. Consumers requiring information on call rates are asked to contact 'Cellnet' directly for further information.

Data capabilities are not yet available on the Cellnet B Mobile systems. Pacom does not offer cellular phones for hire or lease.
